I had to find Eric and tell him the news! I raced down the empty hallways, peeking into the classrooms.
I finally found him in building for. I opened to door and said,
“I need to borrow Eric for a moment.” The teacher, assuming he was needed at the counselor, (who was always too lazy to come fetch a child herself) waved him out the door without a second thought.
“Alice, what is it?”
“You’re coming with us!” I told him excitedly.
“What?”
“We are leaving tomorrow night, and you are coming with us. You have till then to get ready. Oh, and meet us in the morning at Wal-Mart. We aren’t going to school. We have to grab some stuff.”
“Andy is letting you take me?” He asked, incredulous.
“Well, I had to convince him a little bit, but he agreed to my terms.”
“What terms?” I blushed.
“You know . . . the termy kind. Well! I’m glad I caught you! Bye.”
“You agreed to stay with him tonight, didn’t you?” He asked amused. I couldn’t speak. He had guessed it in one.
“I thought so. Well, I can’t say that exactly pleases me, but I can’t do anything about it.”
“It saves you.” I shrugged.
“Yes.” He mused. “It does. Is it worth it, I wonder?” He asked himself in a low voice.
I stared at him confused. What did he mean? It should matter to him if I . . . if we . . . I blushed furiously.
“Yes well, I’d better get going. Meet us at seven.”
He nodded, still thinking.
“I’ll be there.”

The bell rang and my stomach seemed to be doing acrobatics. Andy was waiting for me at the gate, leaning against his car.
“Hey baby.” He pecked my cheek. I didn’t say it, but I wished he would kiss me like he had in the hallway.
“Hey.” I smiled shyly.
I climbed into the car buckling myself in tight.
“I need to stop by Krissy’s house and get some clothes.” I couldn’t look at him.
“Alright.” I could hear the smile in his voice.

She led me into her house and shut the door firmly behind us.
“You’re going with Andy.”
“Yes.”
“You’re staying at his house tonight.”
A longer silence.
“Yes.”
She smiled, satisfied.
“Tell me all about it tomorrow.” She buzzed impatiently.
Hahahaha. Not likely. God she needed her own life. I would have to look into getting her a boyfriend––
My stomach dropped. I was leaving. Poor Krissy would never have a boyfriend.
“I just need my clothes.” I whispered brokenly.
“Sure thing.”
I walked into her closet, and choose one really nice small outfit, and filled the rest of my bag with inconspicuous jeans and T-shirts.
“Thanks.” I walked to the door. “Cya . . . later.”
“Bye.”
Andy held me door open for me outside.
“Hey cutie, get somethin special for tonight?” He smirked, sensing my nerves.
“You bet.” I laughed, thankful for his casual attitude.
He hugged me close and stroked my cheek with his thumb.
“Don’t be nervous.” He crooned. “I love you.”
“I know.” I sighed, content.
“You bet.” I teased back, thankful for his casual attitude.
number four.
and I'm sorry, but I don't think they are going to sleep together. I'm still not positive at this point, but considering I'm writting this from the families computer in the office with my father next to me, haha it's not too likely.

I'll see what I can do, but I don't think that fits into my story. But when I write, things get out of hand and stuff happens that I never expected. Which is why plot lines are so hard for me. lol.

We'll see.
